I recently took this portrait inside a building set to become  lofts. I took some lighted shots inside the hallways, but this one turned out to be my favorite. The light from the window naturally vignetted the wall surrounding the subject.  I also felt the ripped wallpaper helped to perfectly frame the subject. This experience taught me, again, that natural light is often best. So, if you’re taking a portrait, try to seek out window light first.
