Friday (April 13) was the home opener for the White Sox, so I spent a couple of hours roaming the parking lot with tailgaters before the game started. As a transplant from the South, I’ve learned people in the Midwest love their sports. The group pictured loves them so much that they’ve packed up every year for the past five and driven from South Bend, Ind., to attend the White Sox home opener.
